Hi Elle, Thanks for pointing this out to us. Just so you know, we had an editorial meeting about this very thing on Thursday, and are looking for ways to better address it. We have a skeleton crew, publish 70 posts per day between our main site and Medium. We also have 5 community phone calls every week, where we more overtly discuss things like toxic masculinity, misoygyny, racism, LGBTQIA issues. We are the first to admit that some things do fall through the cracks -- the publishing world is brutal lately. But we do always try to address concerns when we hear them -- especially in a big picture way. Our continued goal is to help build a more equal, more inclusive (and yes, less gender-essentializing) world.
